Today is a cold gray day, but not even the weather can put me down. I have my heels on and I feel great. I woke up and straightened my hair and did my do. Do you just get those days when you feel like dresses smart. Today was one of those days, Sunday was a day that I really just didn't know what to wear, and thankfully all we did was stay at the house and did nothing.
So as many of you have noticed, the days are getting longer and the nights are slightly warmer, we can actually wear shorts and skirts without leggings. This all adds up to the conclusion that Spring is in the air. With any new season comes a new fashion trend. After much observation, I have come to the conclusion that this season girls are rocking the florals and bright colours.
Remember to always dress for your body type, I have made the mistake of wearing a maxi dress and I a very short person to I looked a little weird, always make sure it looks great on before you buy it, don't just guess, you have to try a piece of clothing on.
Another craze that had it the South Coast like a storm is bikini's, in all cuts and colours. Leopard print is still quite popular, and shocking pink and other luminous colours are making their return, back on the shelves once more. But there is nothing worse than somebody wearing a bright coloured bikini and they are white white, almost luminous themselves. Ladies, if you cannot find the time to lye out in the sun, then get a self tanner, if you shop around you can find an inexpensive one, at Dischem I found one for R39.99, you don't have to use it all the time, but it will give you the confidence to walk out in you new shocking pink Bikini and let you tan safely and gradually get a tan of your own.
But don't choose a skimpy bikini if you know that you still have a little wobble to get rid off, do exercises, thinking that it will go away on its own won't help, you need to eat right and exercise. I have been exercising and eating right, I do not have bread, for lunch it is brown rice or a healthy pasta salad. (http://www.cookinglight.com/food/recipe-finder/pasta-salad-recipes) and for dinner just cut down your portions. Throughout the day it is very important to drink lots of water, 2 liters is recommended but anything from 1 liter and up is great :-)
